PIWNICA ARTYSTYCZNA KURYLEWICZÓW
founded in
1967 by Wanda Warska and Andrzej Kurylewicz, is an independent
studio staging combinations of music, literature, visual arts and theatre.
Since 1991 it has included a Foundation and Institute of Arts, creating
and promoting contemporary music, fine arts, and literature, including theatre.
Its three directors - Wanda Warska (singer and painter), Andrzej Kurylewicz
(composer and pianist), and Gabriela Kurylewicz (poet and philosopher)
– use this space for their own art, and share it with fellow artists,
thinkers and students.
